Interviewer 1:  Magnus Carlsen. Congratulations and yet another victory. A dramatic end to the day. How do you feel?

Mangnus Carlsen:  I feel very good about the end. Obviously, it was day that became very, very tough. Obviously, and the tie break as well was a very, very nervous affair. But, you know, I prevailed in the end, so I'm very happy.

Interviewer 1:  You’ve managed to prevail in the end. But how did you feel after that first game when it was a draw and --

Mangnus Carlsen:  No I think draw in the first game makes people a bit nervous, like, you don't know what's going to happen. It's all very much in the balance. So in the second game, I kind of wanted to play it safe, and then I just made a very simple mistake in the opening and position was quite equal. And then I think he took some chances that he didn't need to take by not exchanging queens. And then after I gave up upon I think it's a very strange practical situation because, you know it's going to be decided right there and then it's not going to end in a draw for both players it's unpleasant, but yeah.

Interviewer 1:  So how does this benchmark to ST Petersburg, you've repeated what you've done in ST Petersburg, you’ve repeated what you've done the year before. How do you feel? A double hat trick?

Mangnus Carlsen:  Well, in ST Pittsburgh I only got one title. So, no, I would say I'm very, very pleased obviously with their performance, you know, everybody makes mistakes. A lot of the games were rough but at the end of the day, the result is what counts and I cannot be unhappy with that.

Interviewer 1:  I'm just wondering, do you keep track of all the wins that you’ve had? Of all the events which you’ve won?

Mangnus Carlsen:  Not all of the events which I won, but obviously world championships I keep track of.

Interviewer 1:  Thank you.

Interviewer 2:  Magnus, you’ve won all the events now and you are a greatest sportsmen here again. And now I want to ask you what's the secret? Why?

Mangnus Carlsen:  I think there are margins for example here, Nakamura had a great tournament and with some luck he could have had won it outright, like, for instance, my game against Jerushar, if I hadn't got that extra half point I wouldn't have made it to the tiebreak. So there are obviously some margins, some luck but you need to be good to have that luck and that I certainly was.

Interviewer 2:  And what did you feel before this championship?

Mangnus Carlsen:  Before the championship, I was not so sure especially about the rapid chess. I didn't really know what to expect and then, for the blitz, I was very, very optimistic. Yesterday and today, both were tough days, but I think in general I always had a very good chance to win.

Interviewer 2:  And with whom you want to play again now.

Mangnus Carlsen:  Well, everybody who's good, I'm more than willing to play. I think both championships were tough, but today again, it was a very, very tough fights I have to say with Nakamura. He made a fantastic score 7.5 out of 9 today. And I only barely managed to a German intermix I would say today was huge.

Interviewer 2:  [Inaudible]

Mangnus Carlsen:  I don’t know.

Interviewer 1:  Are you satisfied with how the tournament was organized in the event?

Mangnus Carlsen:  Yeah, I think everything's been good. So I have no complaints whatsoever.

Interviewer 1:  On a more general note we've been playing here in a football stadium, were in Luzhniki Stadium which is a history place and there's a lot of people cheering you. Would you like to play a tournament or a match at a football pitch with all the crowds around you shouting live? How would you feel about that?

Mangnus Carlsen:  I think for just chess some quiet is needed, unfortunately. But I enjoy the fact that there are there are lots of chess fans sir.
